Pittsburgh Raceway 9/6-9/8

This year the VRG Pitt Race ( Sept. 7 -9 ) was held under perfect weather conditions. Mid

70's with partly cloudy skies . Three days of three sessions each, plus a test day on the “north”

course, offered maximum track time.

VS2na had 22 entries covering all three of our classes.

The only down side was the miscalculation by VRG regarding how much time was left in

our Sunday feature race. After a black flag all ( for a smoking car, no less ) we only ran one more

lap with at least 15 minutes remaining in our session.

VRG did apologize to VS2 after the race, but that didn’t help the drivers looking forward

to picking up some extra points on track.

The social was well attended, as usual, with lots of sponcer goodies up fro grabs. We

even had a few of grid and flagging workers stop by for a snack or some adult refreshments.
