Summit Point - August 19th & 20th

Saturday:

The second qualifying round of the weekend would prove to be the fastest session of the weekend.

Ben Sinnott took pole with a blistering 1:12.862 which is within a tenth of the unofficial lap record and

John Thompson set a personal best to round out the front row with a 1:13.663. Behind the front two

were Sherwood, Brent Gernert, Jim Hallman, Jack Freehoff, Bryan Gernert, Kevin Wittman.

The first race of the weekend saw John Thompson get a great jump and drag race Sinnott down to

worked his way past Thompson and checked out on the field, winning by over 14 seconds. The

podium was rounded out by Thompson and Sherwood. Further down the order the two white Swifts

had a good race on track and looked good doing it. The order finished Ben Sinnott, John Thompson,

Rob Sherwood, Brent Gernert, Jim Hallman, Jack Freehoff, Bryan Gernert, Kevin Wittman.
